You CAN buy happiness!
GUARANTEE
Our puppies are sold as pet quality only. No guarantees
are made as to show or breeding quality or adult size.
We guarantee that our puppies are in good health at the time of sale.

All puppies will have been vet checked at least twice, had their 2nd set of
shots and will have been wormed.

There are some health problems that are not uncommon to Yorkshire
Terriers. Some potential health issues are known to be genetic, others
seem to occur randomly. As much as we attempt to breed for healthy
offspring, it is impossible to assure that each puppy will be free of any
future health concerns.

This puppy is warranted for 12 months from date of purchase against life
threatening genetic disorders such as heart, lung, liver or kidney defects.
If this puppy develops such a life threatening genetic disorder within the
first year, seller will replace the puppy with a puppy of like value, as soon
as a replacement becomes available. The buyer will be allowed to keep
original puppy in addition to the replacement puppy if desired. Seller is
willing to take back the original puppy if requested. If a replacement
puppy is not desired, seller offers to reimburse any reasonable out-of-
pocket veterinary fees related to the defect, not to exceed the original
purchase price of the puppy or buyer may return the puppy for a full
refund of the purchase price. Seller requires licensed veterinary
documentation of diagnosis on the veterinarian's letterhead as well as
documentation that the puppy is current on all core vaccinations and
veterinarian recommended preventative health measures. Seller also
requires diagnosing veterinarian to provide medical records pertaining to
the life threatening genetic disorder to seller's veterinarian for
confirmation of diagnosis. Seller may require presentation of the puppy
for examination. Upon verification of documentation and/or confirmation
of diagnosis by the seller's veterinarian that puppy will be replaced with a
puppy of like value when one is available or refund/reimbursement will be
provided. If returning original puppy to the seller it must arrive with
registration papers and signed transfer to the seller. Document transfer
and/or transportation expense is the responsibility of the buyer. Seller
will not be responsible for medical treatment to cure such genetic life
threatening disorders.

This puppy is warranted for 12 months from date of purchase against
significant life altering genetic defects such as hip dysplasia and Legg-
Calve-Perthes disease. Seller agrees to reimburse buyer for out-of-
pocket medical expenses related to such life altering genetic defects up
to an amount equal to but not exceeding the purchase price of the puppy.
Because the environment in which the puppy is raised and the treatment
which it receives can have a significant influence on patellar luxation and
collapsing trachea, these two conditions are exempted from the genetic
warranty.  Additional exclusions to this health warranty include but are
not limited to:  hernias, hypoglycemia, undecended testicles, retained
baby teeth, malocclusion, or other minor illnesses.

We require that you have a licensed veterinarian examine your puppy
within 3 business days of you (or a party assigned by you) taking
possession of your puppy.  If the puppy is found to have a life threatening
congenital defect it may be returned within 5 business days of original
pick up date for a full refund. The puppy must be returned with its
registration papers and veterinary documentation of diagnosis on the
veterinarian's letterhead. Transportation expense is the responsibility of
the buyer.

If the puppy is not examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business
days this guarantee is void.

If, within 10 days of you (or a party assigned by you) taking possession of
your puppy, a licensed veterinarian determines that your puppy has a
contagious or infectious disease that was present at the time of sale, you
may return the puppy for a full refund. The puppy must be returned
within 2 business days after receiving the diagnosis, along with its
registration papers and veterinary documentation of diagnosis on the
veterinarian's letterhead. Upon verification of documentation and/or
confirmation of diagnosis by the seller's veterinarian, the refund will be
provided. Transportation expense is the responsibility of the buyer. If
buyer chooses to retain the puppy, seller agrees to reimburse buyer for
out-of-pocket medical expenses relating to the contagious or infectious
disease up to the amount of $200.00. Seller requires veterinary
documentation of diagnosis on the veterinarian's letterhead as well as a
copy of the billing. Upon verification of documentation and/or confirmation
of diagnosis by the seller's veterinarian, reimbursement up to but not
exceeding $200.00 will be provided.

If your veterinarian vaccinates your puppy within three weeks of the last
vaccination date on the vaccination record this health guarantee will be
void. If your veterinarian vaccinates your puppy with Leptospira Bacterin
this health guarantee will be void.

If the puppy dies within the first 12 months of purchase date, and the
death is determined by a licensed veterinarian to be a direct result of a
congenital defect, buyer may receive a replacement puppy of like value,
when one is available or a refund of the purchase price. Seller may also
reimburse any reasonable out-of-pocket veterinary fees related to the
defect, total reimbursement not to exceed the original purchase price of
the puppy. Buyer must inform the seller of the death within 2 business
days and provide veterinary documentation of diagnosis and cause of
death on the veterinarian's letterhead, as well as a copy of the billing.
Buyer must also provide veterinary documentation that the puppy was
current on all core vaccinations and veterinarian recommended
preventative health measures. Upon verification of documentation a
replacement puppy, when available, or refund will be provided, as well as
out-of-pocket
veterinary fee reimbursement.

Seller may require buyer to produce the animal for examination or may
require an autopsy to be performed at the buyer's expense by a licensed
veterinarian. Transportation expense is the responsibility of the buyer. If
the autopsy confirms a congenital defect as the cause of death the seller
will reimburse the cost of the autopsy.

Seller may require DNA testing at the buyer's expense before any
refund, reimbursement or replacement is provided. If DNA testing
confirms the puppy as progeny of the AKC recorded dam the seller will
also reimburse the cost of the DNA testing.

No refund, reimbursement or replacement will be provided if the health
problems or death is the result of maltreatment, neglect, injury, or a
disease contracted after the date of sale.

The seller is not to be held liable for any veterinary bills incurred after
date of sale other than those stipulated in this warranty.
